Something feels off with your career. But that doesn't mean you need to start over.

You know you're qualified. You have years of experience. You've done good work. But something isn't adding up.

Maybe you're applying for roles you know you can do, but you're not getting interviews. Maybe you're getting interviews, but not offers. Maybe you've taken on more responsibility, but the title, compensation, or opportunities haven't followed. Maybe you're ready for more, but you're not even sure what “more” looks like anymore.

So you start trying to fix it.

You update the résumé. Change the LinkedIn profile. Apply to more jobs. Consider going after a promotion. Maybe you even start wondering if it's time to do something completely different.

But before we start changing things, we need to understand what's actually happening.

That's where we start.

What isn't working? What has changed? What do you want now? Where are you trying to go? And what, if anything, is standing between where you are and where you want to be?

Because once we understand the problem, we can determine what actually needs to change.

Maybe it is the résumé. Maybe it's your direction. Maybe it's how you're positioned. Maybe you've outgrown your current role or environment. Maybe your strategy isn't producing the results you need. Or maybe it's something you haven't considered yet.

The goal isn't simply to make another career move. It's to understand what your next move needs to solve, and then make the right one.
